“Penso che nei gironi A e C siano state inserite le squadre più forti. Abbiamo un girone molto agguerrito. Monaco e Virtus, che da tempo è impegnata per entrare in EuroLeague, si distinguono dalle altre. Quest’anno la Segafredo ha aumentato il budget in maniera importante; possiedono un roster molto solido. Giocare contro le altre squadre del girone non sarà semplice. Andorra non è un regalo, gioca nel campionato spagnolo. Lietkabelis rappresenta un’ottima scuola lituana. Anversa ha giocato di recente nella FIBA Champions League accedendo alle Final Four. Il sorteggio è solo l’inizio e non vediamo l’ora che inizi il torneo”.

“In effetti, è una grande sorteggio! Vogliamo sempre dare ai tifosi monegaschi il più alto livello di basket. A questo proposito, sono felice di avere un avversario storico come la Virtus, che avremmo dovuto affrontare la scorsa stagione nei quarti di finale. Il Lokomotiv è probabilmente uno dei club finanziariamente più potenti della competizione. Sarà impegnativo affrontare una delle potenze russe.
